MAKE MOVES

MAKE MOVES is an interview based show, hosted by John Hammond, that peeks into the minds of creative people and those who support them by thinking – and doing things – differently. Guests include musicians and music industry visionaries, architects, journalists, farmers, dancers, artists, authors, clothing designers, craftsmen, photographers, etc., etc., etc. Some guests are already famous, some are just arriving, and some will never survive, but they all have a fascinating human story to tell. Shows average 60 minutes and are in no particular order, so you can dive in wherever you want. You can get supplemental materials and interesting resources for each episode at www.makemoveswithjohn.com.

John interviews Richard Ross - artist, photographer, visual researcher, Professor at University of California Santa Barbara, and creator of the Juvenile-in-Justice project.  Richard shares his thoughts on making art, finding purpose, and getting things done.  Richard is full of entertaining stories, life lessons about being irreverent and sufficiently dangerous, and real talk about his work in the US Juvenile Justice system.  With permission of Angelo Moore and the Brand New Step and Ropeadope Records, a portion of the tune "I'm Built for Love" is featured off the album Centuries of Heat.
